DEZEGA recommends using the UPG leak tester to regularly check the tightness of self-contained rescue devices
The operating principle of the leak detector is based on the overpressurization (to a defined value) of an airtight chamber in which a self-rescuer has previously been positioned.
The use of the UPG is mandatory, subjected to technical inspections, and also when it is in operation.
