Use :
- Recommended for manual welding techniques with light spatter and droplet formation, e.g. gas welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, micro plasma welding, brazing, spot welding, MMA welding, rutile coated electrode
- Recommended for manual welding techniques with large metal spatter, e.g. MMA welding (basic coated electrode or cellulose coated electrode), MAG welding (with CO2 or gas mixture), MIG welding (with high current), arc welding self propagating cored, plasma fusion cutting, calibration, flame cutting, thermal spraying
These gaiters are designed to protect against accidental, short-term electrical contact.
Precautions for use:
- Check that this equipment is suitable for the intended use
- Use the appropriate additional personal protective equipment to provide complete protection (trousers, welding mask, goggles, gloves, etc.)
- Attention: for operational reasons, it is not possible to provide protection against direct contact with all live parts of arc welding equipment
- Additional partial protection may be required, for example for overhead welding
- These products are only designed to protect against brief, accidental contact with live parts of an arc welding circuit, additional layers of electrical insulation are required in environments where the risk of electric shock is increased
- These products are designed to provide protection against accidental short-term contact with electrical conductors at voltages up to approximately 100V DC
